Mary Dawn & Jordan Daniel: it is finished

FRIENDS. i have some great news. i am done blogging for comms 239! seriously. i hated clogging up your feeds with my posts for school. every time i posted i regretted not making a separate blog for those posts. but what's done is done. i'm done with 239! woohoo! i'm officially done with all my broadcast pre reqs... kind of haha. i still have to take 300 and 308. but i'm in the program. so whatever! i'm in no hurry. i'm going to be at school for forever and a half anyway. no reason to rush through my major. i want to enjoy it. so anyway. hopefully i'll start reporting in fall semester next year... perhaps winter.. i'll keep you guys posted.. so you can watch me on byu's daily news. how cool will that be? i'm pretty stoked about it. dreams do come true, my friends, they really do. but not without hard work. the older i get, the more i realize that. dreams do come true but only when they are made realities. you follow?

anyway. it's been a good week. :) i'm still a little sick. have i told you people about this? so i caught a cough from my boyfriend. it sucked but chloroseptic and ny quil got me through.. i started to get over that sickness... and then i caught a terrible cold from who knows where!? i've been congested for like. a week and a half. and can't breathe without support from my nasal spray. quite embarrassing, i know. but whatever. nasal spray is my best friend.

ooh. guys. question. is it weird to follow blogs of people that you don't really know, but know of? i feel like i come coming across blogs of people i have classes with but don't really know.. and they're really cute and i love them, but would feel like a creep if i followed them. but then there's the part of me that's like.. it would be flattering.. idk. thoughts?

guess what i got to do on monday? host my ward's oscars night. that was fun. everyone dressed up formally. we showed some super fun videos that all the groups made and awarded prizes. and i cracked one or two jokes. i wish i were funnier. but it was still fun! i love my calling. family home evening grandma. i don't actually have to do THAT much but i get some cool perks. like hosting events like we had monday... although, one not perk: meetings at 7:45 in the morning on sunday... good thing that only happens occasionally. waking up early is not a strong suite of mine. or at least.. it wasn't. i actually can't remember the last time i slept past 9 AM... ah, sometimes i miss high school. okay. i don't miss high school. i just miss sleep. lol.

finals are coming! guess what i'm in the middle of doing right now? studying terms for my geography test. that is also the reason i am presently blogging. anything to not study. bad mary. i need to stop and study. i just.. am so done. like.. classes are over. can i just skip finals and go home? ugh. jk. i'll be fine. approximately one week from today i will be packing, and approximately one week and five hours from now i will be departing for st. george with my boyf. and katie and cj. to say i'm excited would be an understatement. also. wanna hear something cool? i'm going to oregon to meet my boyfriends family. did that elicit some gasps? who would have ever thought i'd be in this serious of a relationship? miracles do happen. and. i'm excited to go to oregon! that's one of the 25 states i have yet to visit. from what i've seen on espn.. (because that's where i see other states..) it looks gorgeous. i'll definitely post picutres. :) here are some from oscars night. i know. you've probably already seen them on facebook. but something is better than nothing. yeah? much love--Mary

Here's the prize my group won :) I wasn't in our video but they did the dance to that Russian song on Just Dance. It was quite hilarious. Aren't my roommates beautiful? And their boyfriends? lol.
