my New Testament class is coming to an end... it's been such an amazing semester, studying the four gospels, and obviously, as we study their endings, we study the atonement.
Oh, the atonement. i understand it no better than a primary child... but i know that's enough. and i'm so grateful for it. call this an early Christmas post if you'd like. But i am oh so grateful for my Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ. That through Him, sin and its consequences can be overcome.
Even though my flesh is weak.
Thanksgiving was lovely. i spent it up at my aunts. with my sister. and my parents. and aunts and uncles and cousins. i know everyone thinks they have the best family... but i'm one who thinks that too. they keep me in check. they play catch phrase with me. and don't judge me when i have chocolate cream pie for breakfast.
my boyfriend was able to spend some time with the family in and he fits in so well. it makes me happy. Can i brag about him for a minute? he makes me want to be the best I can be. he is so kind and patient and fun and funny... and i just am in love. i have a LOOONGG way to go in order to be the best i can be... in order to be good enough for him... my fingers are crossed that he remains to be patient with me and my countless imperfections.
so.. i don't have any pictures. oops. that explains why i never blog any more. i don't take pictures. i'll work on it ok? early new years resolution. here's to all of you. hoping that you have a phenomenal holiday season and that you have time to reflect on Christ and his atonement. much love--Mary
