a brief update on our lives.

no one have a heart attack. i'm blogging.

these past few months have been insane. literally insane. but... the good kind. is there a good kind of insane?

i've been married for almost 5 months. that in itself is just crazy. and we are literally busy most seconds of every day. except for when we're sleeping. which is usually by 10PM if we can swing it. you can say we're old and married and boring all you want, but you know you're jealous. sleep is the bomb.

another crazy: the semester is more than halfway over. what the!? i've been dreading and so looking forward to this semester for so long. i didn't know if i would survive it. and here i am. alive. reporting has been a BEAST. but it's been amazing learning experience and i love it as much as i thought i would.. if not more. so. i'm definitely gonna call that one a victory. (PS if you are in utah and want to watch, i have a story on every friday at noon on channel eleven. if you aren't in utah... the show is usually posted on elevennews.byu.edu by that evening.)

BUT i do feel like i'm going to die some days. haha. jk. melodrama. but it gets pretty bad. i work on campus 15 hours a week... and then i put in 15 hours a week for our apartment managing job. for those of you that are math challenged that's 30 hours. then go ahead and add my 12 credits... 3 of them being my reporting class which takes an average of 12 or more hours a week... it's like... are there even that many hours a week?

ask me if i ever make dinner? no. ha. i try though. occasionally. last night i poured a bag of fritos, 3 cans of chilli, and some cheese in a baking dish, warmed it up, and called it dinner. i feel like a poor excuse for a wife. don't judge me ok? (by the way that feeble excuse for dinner was not bad--ask me if you want more details on that recipe and i won't judge YOU)

jordan has been equally as busy with his FULL TIME TEACHING JOB. still so proud of him. and then he's taking 3 classes for his masters degree online with SUU. we really are too busy for our own good. but it's fine. life is good. and i know that you all are in the same boat. everyone is busy right?

i've been thinking about that a lot. and admiring people that are really good at it... namely you people who are working more than me.. taking more classes than me... and still have time to cook dinner... and to blog.. and just be superstars. you guys rock.

ok well. that's all for now. i hope this post didn't sound whiny. cause i'm so lucky. for my jobs. for my husband. for this wonderful, beautiful crazy life.i'm just not going to post pictures. because if you want to see pictures you should really follow me on instagram. i'm not nearly as big of a slacker on instagram.

favorite parts of october: going to colorado to campaign for mitt romney and sitting courtside at the jazz mavericks game... and buying justin bieber tickets. i think that was this month?

so don't worry. as busy as we are. we MAKE time for some major fun stuff.
