bittersweet

there's good news and there's bad news. hence the title of this post. bittersweet. also. side note. my name, mary, in hebrew means bittersweet. cool, i know. and fitting.
good: i'm moving home in 10 days. i'll get to hang out with my big sister, and little brother, and parents, and old friends, and soak up the st. george sun, and focus on planning my wedding, and NOT go to school! because i sold my contract. THAT is good news. good news that will save jordan and i over 500 buckaroos in the long run.
bad: jordan and i will be living across the state from each other for a month and a couple weeks. no thanks. i'm seriously dreading it. i can't stand being away from that kid for 6 hours let alone a whole month. ugh. he doesn't get done with rugby until may 19th. and he has a good full time job up here. so it makes the most sense.. logically speaking. however, the heart does not speak logically. so. my logic will be happy. but my heart will be sad. PS Jordan still needs to sell his contract for June, July, and August. His housing is super nice. and on the cheap side. so if you are or know any boys looking for housing, here's the link http://www.ksl.com/index.php?sid=17403849&nid=651&ad=35098.

but i know. i shouldn't feel too bad for myself. because in 65 days i'll be sealed to jordan for time. and eternity. so... i can probably handle a month. but to my st. george friends.. i'll def need you to keep me busy for that short amount of time. not that i'm too worried. planning a wedding has proved to be fairly time consuming thus far. lol.

am i supposed to post about Easter now? i suck and only took one picture. no surprises there. but we had a lovely day! we attended church and felt the Spirit. then we headed to kiwanis park and laid out in the sun for an hour or so. :) (our engagement pictures are this week on saturday and we want to be looking as tan as possible) anyway. then we headed up to salt lake to scope out the park where we're getting our pictures taken (it's lovely, everything is in bloom, the pond is full, and lex--the ferris wheel is up and running woohoo!!) then we went to my aunt's house and enjoyed steaks and mashed potatoes and salad and coconut cake and peanut butter eggs and 3 different flavors of ice cream. yum.

ok but speaking of our engagements.. there's a fifty percent chance of rain on saturday in salt lake and that is TOTALLY freaking me out. i've been praying all day every day for like two weeks that it is sunny. please join me in my prayers. i bet if He gets enough, God will change the weather. but. i guess it could be higher than 50%. and i guess that if it's overcast it won't be the worst thing ever... but actually it kind of will be. so please pray for the sun.

let's see... in other news... my dress will be done and ready to pick up TOMORROW. also it's my dad's birthday tomorrow. happy birthday daddy! my birthday is in... umm... 9 days. and jordan is GRADUATING on my birthday. that's right ladies and gentlemen, i will be getting married to a college graduate. i'm dreading packing, but so grateful and blessed that we sold our contracts.

jordan and i have been having a lot of fun lately. we are really living up our last few days together. we've been shopping, and eating, and playing outside. i'm going to miss him a lot.

ok. well i think that's all for now. oh. ps i got instagram. and i'm slightly obsessed. which is maybe a good thing because it's got me taking more pictures! if you'd like to follow me my username is marydawnt (below is some proof of my obsession) much love--Mary
